LITHUANIAN FM DELIVERS REPORT IN AZERBAIJAN DIPLOMATIC ACADEMY
Baku, April 9 (AzerTAc). Lithuanian Foreign Minister Vygaudas Usackas delivered Wednesday a report in Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy (ADA).
The Minister spoke of relationship between Azerbaijan and Lithuania, his country`s foreign policy priorities, as well as the Eastern Partnership initiative.
According to him, Azerbaijan can further play important role in energy supplies to Europe.
Usackas praised the work done by Azerbaijan to integrate into Europe.
He also underlined the importance of simplification of visa regime with European countries.
On the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the Minister said “Lithuania backs Azerbaijan`s fair position on settlement of the dispute.”
Azerbaijan`s Deputy Foreign Minister, rector of ADA Hafiz Pashayev briefed the students on diplomatic activity of Vygaudas Usackas.
