PRESIDENT SUMMONS HOME AFFAIRS MINISTER

Bogor, W Java, April 10 (ANTARA) - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono summoned Home Affairs Minister Mardiyanto to his Puri Cikeas residence in Bogor, West Java, on Friday afternoon.

Presidential Spokesman Andi Mallarangeng said here on Friday that the president had summoned the minister to have his reports on the overall situation in Indonesia after the legislative election held on Thursday.

"The president summoned the home affairs minister to hear his report on the country's general situation after the polls on Thursday," Andi said.

Besides the home affairs minister who was scheduled to meet the president at 1.15 p.m., Administrative Reforms Minister Taufik Effendy was also seen in the president's residence in Puri Cikeas.

Before receiving the home affairs minister, the head of state had met in the morning the executives of the Democrat Party to get information on the latest developments of the polls, Andi said.***1***
