Stadiums for Semi-Finals of Gulf 24 Set

Doha, December 03 (QNA) -The organizing committee of the Gulf 24 football tournament, which is currently hosted by the Qatari capital Doha and will continue until December 8, has set the stadiums for the semi-finals of the championship. The match between Qatar and Saudi Arabia will take place at Al Janoub Stadium in Al Wakrah, while Iraq will play with Bahrain on Jassim bin Hamad Stadium at Al Sadd Club on Thursday December 5. The winners will qualify for the final on Sunday, December 8, at Khalifa International Stadium. The Qatari team qualified for the semi-finals after beating the UAE team four goals to two goals for the first group, to finish second behind Iraq, which topped after the draw with Yemen. The Saudi team qualified by beating Oman to lead Group B, while Bahrain overthrew its Kuwaiti counterpart and occupied the runners-up group to cross into the semi-finals and meet the Iraqi team in a very difficult confrontation. The first round matches of the tournament were held at Khalifa International Stadium and Abdullah Bin Khalifa Stadium at Al Duhail. (QNA)
