National Guard President hails Bahrain’s victories in Saudi Cup

Manama, Feb. 29(BNA): National Guard President General His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al-Khalifa congratulated His Majesty the King’s Representative for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, National Security Advisor and Supreme Council for Youth and Sports Affairs (SCYS) Chairman His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa on the victory of his horse, Port Lions, which won the 2100-metre-long race for open category as part of the Saudi World Cup, the richest horse in the world. Gen. HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al-Khalifa also extended congratulations to His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Rashid Equestrian and Hors racing High Authority Vice Chairman, whose horse, Dark Power won the second race. He took pride in the outstanding performance of the horses owned by HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa and HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa in Saudi World Cup. He hailed Bahrain’s equestrian strides and world standing, commending the outstanding organization of the Saudi World Horseracing Cup.
