QOC Extends Suspension of All Local Sports Activities Until April 24

Doha, March 28 (QNA) - Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) has decided to extend the suspension of all local sports activities until April 14, due to the outbreak of the new coronavirus (Covid-19), in order to ensure the safety of the affiliates of all sporting organizations, institutions and community. Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) said that the decision comes as a complement to the efforts made by the State to take all precautionary measures to limit the spread of the coronavirus, and in line with the recommendations of the Ministry of Public Health to avoid gatherings in public places, and to implement the decisions issued by the National Committee to combat the coronavirus. Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) announced earlier the suspension of all local sports activities until the March 29, as it was earlier announced to suspend and postpone the activities of the age groups until further notice.
