Azerbaijan confirms 75 new coronavirus cases, 25 recovered

Baku, May 8, AZERTAC 75 new cases of coronavirus infection have been recorded in Azerbaijan, while 25 patients have been recovered and discharged from the hospital, the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers has told AZERTAC. According to the Task Force, the overall confirmed cases in Azerbaijan have reached 2,279, with 1,576 recoveries and 28 deaths, while treatment of 675 others is underway in the specialized hospitals. 28 of the infected are in a severe and 39 in a moderate-to-severe condition, while the health of others is stable. “A total of 181,530 coronavirus tests have been conducted in the country so far," the Task Force added.
