Azerbaijan`s coronavirus cases surpass 6,500, as death toll reaches 78

Baku, June 4, AZERTAC The number of COVID-19 cases in Azerbaijan over the past day has risen by 262, reaching 6,522, the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers told AZERTAC. “72 people were discharged from hospitals in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of recoveries to 3,737. Two coronavirus patients died in the past 24 hours, taking the death toll to 78,” the Task Force said. "A total of 322,574 tests have been carried out in the country so far," the Task Force added.
