First International conference on Women Health opens

Jeddah, April 21 , SPA -- On behalf of Prince Khalid Al-Faisal,
Governor of Makkah Region, the Director of King Abdulaziz University
Dr. Osamah bin Sadeq Tayyeb tonight opened the First International
Conference on the Health of Women over the years in which nearly 300
doctors from the Kingdom, GCC member countries, Arab countries,
Europe and America are taking part.

In a key address, the Head of the conference's Steering Committee Dr.
Hasan Noor El-Deen Nasrat said that the government of the Custodian
of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud paid
great attention to the affairs of women, particularly their health
and family affairs.

For his part, Dr. Osamah bin Sadeq Tayyeb underscored the importance
of this scientific event hosted by Jeddah for the first time and the
attendance of the WHO's regional bureau as well as speakers from
local and international universities.
