P1 NAMED AS AMONG ASIA'S INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGY COMPANIES

KUALA LUMPUR, April 22 (Bernama) -- Packet One Networks (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd
(P1) has been selected as a winner of the Red Herring 100 Award, an independent
selection of the 100 most innovative private technology companies based in Asia.

Red Herring is a global media company which unites the world's best high
technology innovators, venture investors and business decision makers in a
variety of forums.

"The award is recognition of our efforts in establishing P1 as a challenger,
innovator and leader within the industry in a short time," P1 chief executive
officer Michael Lai said in a statement Tuesday.

"Beyond this, P1 will continue in our pursuit to deliver broadband for all
through continuous innovation while at the same time advancing the broadband
industry in Malaysia and beyond," he said.
