QNB Stars League 2020-21 Season First-Leg Schedule Announced

Doha, August 23 (QNA) - The Qatar Stars League announced the schedule for first leg of 2020-21 season QNB Stars League, after co-ordination with the authorities concerned. The new season will start on Thursday, 3rd September, 2020. The kick-off times and venues for the tournaments first three weeks have been finalised. The remaining schedule will be confirmed later. Qatar Stars League took into consideration a number factors including Events, tournaments and matches that will be held in Doha in the coming days; Participation of Qatari clubs in AFC Champions League; Qualifiers and matches of Qatars national teams; and Availability of stadiums, their readiness and periodic maintenance. Champions (Al-Duhail) will begin the journey of defending their title, facing Umm Salal, while Al-Kharaitiyat, returning to the First Division, will face Al-Sadd, and Al-Gharafa will play with Qatar Club, runner-ups Al-Rayyan will meet Al-Sailiya, and Al-Ahly will meet Al-Wakrah.
