Azerbaijan confirms 152 new coronavirus infections, one died, 111 recovered

Baku, August 24, AZERTAC 152 new cases of coronavirus infection have been recorded in Azerbaijan, while 111 patients have been recovered and discharged from the hospital, the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers has told AZERTAC. According to the Task Force, one person has died after testing positive for COVID-19. “The overall confirmed cases in Azerbaijan have reached 35,426, with 33,104 recoveries and 519 deaths, while treatment of 1,803 others is underway in the specialized hospitals. A total of 878,667 coronavirus tests have been conducted in the country so far," the Task Force added.
