IBFIM EXPORTING SERVICES TO KYRGYZSTAN

KUALA LUMPUR, April 29 (Bernama) -- The Islamic Banking and Finance Institute Malaysia (IBFIM) has joined hands with Kyrgyzstan's Ecobank, to venture into human capital development in Islamic finance.

In a statement here, the IBFIM, a leading human capital developer in
shariah-based business advisory said it would collaborate in providing
expertise and resources to develop the modules content and trainers for the
programme.

The Institute would also endorse and certify the cerificates to be awarded
to participants.

The objective of the collaboration is to provide short courses and
professional certification programmes in Islamic finance with the focus on
Central Asia and other Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) countries.

Ecobank and Barakat, an educational licensed entity of which the former is
the co-founder, would then undertake the marketing, promotion and running of the
programmes.
