MADUNIA EXPECTS TO SELL HOME-MADE FRUIT JUICES IN INDONESIA, TURKEY, DUBAI

KUALA LUMPUR, May 6 (Bernama) -- Madunia Sri Berkat, health products manufacturer, distributor and wholesale, aims to distribute its products to Indonesia, Turkey and Dubai in July.

Business Development director Mazzlan (spelling correct) Mohamad said the
company was in deal with three country distribution partnership. Tha deal is
expected to be finalised by July.

"Madunia is also looking at countries with huge Muslim population such as
China, Brunei and the Middle East," he told reporters after the launch of the
company's latest products -- Jus Ubi Jaga Plus and Air Collagen -- at the sixth
International Halal Showcase (Mihas) here Wednesday.

Established in 2004, Madunia products are 100 per cent herb-based
without chemicals and additives and used as daily supplements.

Currently, Madunia exports its products to Singapore and the company is
planning to strengthen its distributor base as demand for its products have
grown.

On its business locally, Mazzlan said Madunia is targeting RM12 million
sales this year from RM1 million last year, as the company is planning to
recruit 10 more distributors this year to boost sales.

At present, the company has three distributors in Johor Baharu, Melaka,
Selangor, he said, adding that distribution wwpul ill start in Kelantan soon.

"Our plan is to have 14 distributors including Sabah and Sarawak. We target
each state to generate RM100,000 sales a month," Mazzlan said.

Commenting on Mihas, Mazzlan said the company received more enquiries from
overseas clients via the Mihas platform, adding Mihas is an avenue for
companies to improve sales.

Madunia marketing manager Abdul Basir Mohd Hairi said the company products
are affordable to people from all strata of society as the price ranged from
RM30 to RM50.

Madunia currently comprisies natural and traditional herbs,
energy and health drinks.

"Our best-selling products are Jus Mukttar, Jus Ubi Jaga and Mindatif which
sells 10,000 bottles a month. These products accounted 60 per cent of
our revenue," he added.
