Supreme oil committee approves selling 4,5 millions barrel

SANA'A, May, 10 (Saba)- The Supreme Committee for Marketing Oil has
approved selling 2,2 millions barrel of crude oil from Masila
oilfield and 2,302 million from Mareb on the bases of the best
offers presented by13 companies.

In Sunday meeting, presided over by Prime Minister Ali Mujawar, the
committee discussed report on technical measures concerning July
2009 round and the committee's analysis to the presented offers.

The committee affirmed abiding by selling principles approved since
July 2009 for the positive effects it created in field of enhancing
transparency's process for presenting the best offers in rounds to
come.

The meeting's members appreciated continuous efforts in the work of
the technical committee whether concerning improvements included in
presenting quantities and receiving them or the process of naming
and defining choices of selling.
