‘IMPACT OF FINANCIAL CRISIS ON AZERBAIJAN LESS THAN IN OTHER COUNTRIES’
Baku, May 11 (AzerTAc). In majority of CIS countries economic expansion was followed by the recession this year, according to member of the Milli Majlis standing commission on economic policy Ali Masimli.
GDP in the CIS countries fell 10% during first two months of this year. In some countries GDP went down by 16 and even 30%. Azerbaijan posted a 4.1% GDP increase. It shows that impact of crisis in Azerbaijan is less than that in other countries.
The 4.1% growth in Azerbaijan is more than world`s average rates.
