Kyrgyzstan confirms 1,102 new cases of coronavirus

Bishkek, July 21, 2021 . / Kabar / . 1,102 new cases of COVID-19 coronavirus infection were registered across Kyrgyzstan in the past day, Deputy Minister of Health and Social Development Zhalalidin Rakhmatullaev said during a briefing Wednesday. Kyrgyzstan's total tally of coronavirus infection has reached 152,709 since the first case was detected on March 18, 2020. According to the deputy minister, number of recoveries from the disease has amounted to 128,905 after 1,213 more patients with previously confirmed diagnosis of coronavirus have cured in the past day. The death toll from coronavirus stands at 2,205 as 9 new virus-related deaths were recorded throughout Kyrgyzstan in the last 24 hours. Zhalalidin Rakhmatullaev added that 4,509 coronavirus patients are receiving treatment in hospitals, and 15,856 people are being treated at home. In addition, 8,926 PCR tests were conducted in Kyrgyzstan in the past day.
