COVID-19: Kyrgyzstan logs 1,169 news cases

Bishkek, July 22, 2021. / Kabar / . 1,169 new cases of coronavirus infection were registered across Kyrgyzstan on Thursday, Deputy Minister of Health and Social Development Zhalalidin Rakhmatullaev said a briefing. The official said that the country's tally of COVID-19 coronavirus infection has amounted to 153,878. In the past day, another 1,837 people have beaten the disease, taking the total number of recoveries to 130,742. Meanwhile, 12 coronavirus-related fatalities were recorded. Thus, Kyrgyzstan's death toll from COVID-19 stands at 2,217. Deputy Minitser Rakhmatullaev added that as of today, 4,356 patients are being treated in hospitals, and 16,009 people are receiving treatment at home. Kyrgyzstan conducted 5,022 PCR tests in the past day.
