MIRC TO ORGANISE FIRST ASIA WOMEN BUSINESS POWER CONFERENCE

KUALA LUMPUR, May 13 (Bernama) -- The Malaysian Chinese Association (MCA)
ICT Resource Centre (MIRC) is organising the first Asia Women Business Power
Conference aimed at starting off a women's incubation program and to foster
close relationship between women entrepreneurs throughout the region.

The conference, to take place at the Technology Park here on June 18, is
expected to be launched by the Minister of Housing and Local Government, Kong
Cho Ha.

Over 400 Asia business leaders, CEOs, women entrepreneurs and inspirational
women are expected to converge at the conference.

In a statement here, MIRC said the event is a joint effort between MIRC,
National Incubation Network Association, Technology Park Malaysia and Vtalent.

The conference will feature motivating business talks covering a wide range
of topics such as business start ups, marketing, social entrepreneurship, ICT
and many more.

Several well-known speakers from Vietnam, Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan, Laos
and Malaysia will be sharing with the participants their insights, stories,
achievements and experiences, MIRC said.

MCA is a component party of Malaysia's ruling Barisan Nasional (BN) or
National Front.
