MINISTER TO MEET FOREIGN REPRESENTATIVES FRIDAY
KUALA LUMPUR, May 14 (Bernama) -- About 120 Ambassadors, High Commissioners and Trade Representatives are expected to gather here Friday, to discuss with Minister of International Trade and Industry (MITI) Mustapa Mohamed, on ways to enhance cooperation in trade and investment relations.
The session will see Mustapa updating the foreign representatives on the
role and functions of MITI and its agencies in moving the country to a
high-income economy.
In a statement Thursday, MITI also said at the session, the foreign
representatives will be updated on Malaysia'a economy and the challenges, in the
face of the current global economic scenario.
