Qatar SC End Training Camp in Serbia & Umm Salal SC Play Three Friendlies in Turkey Camp

Doha, August 18 (QNA) - Qatar SC concluded their external preparatory camp in the Serbian city of Belgrade, by winning their third friendly match, today, against FC Vozdovac 2-1, as part of their preparations for the sports season (2021/2022) of the Qatar Football League (QNB Stars League) Which will be launch on the 11th of September. Qatar had played two friendly matches, losing in the first against Saudi Arabia's Qadsia 3-0, and losing against Oman 1-0. The technical staff of Qatar SC is seeking, through friendly matches, to reach the best possible readiness. Brazilian coach Ze Ricardo is looking to take advantage of the good capabilities that the team possesses after their ranks were strengthened by many strong signings. On the other hand, Umm Salal SC announced the program of their upcoming friendly matches in its external camp in Turkey, in preparation for the new season. The team is scheduled to play three matches during the coming period, all of which will be with Kuwaiti teams residing in Turkey during the same period. The days of August 19, 21 and 26 are set for those matches... The first match will be with Kuwait SC tomorrow Thursday, then Al-Shabab in the second match, and the last match before the end of the camp will be with Al Arabi. Umm Salal played their first friendly match in the Turkish camp yesterday, Tuesday, with the Turkish team, Fethiye Sport, and won 3-1. It is noteworthy that Umm Salal SC started the first phase of preparation in Doha on the first of last July, led by the Brazilian coach Sergio Farias.(QNA)
