Bahrain's keen interest in supporting scout movement stressed

Cairo, Sept. 7 (BNA): A parliamentary delegation has affirmed Bahrain's keen interest in supporting the scout movement and its role in promoting discipline and developing the spirit of responsibility among young people at all school levels.
The delegation, headed by Reda Ibrahim Monfardi, and comprising lawmakers Ahmed Al Amer and Zainab Abdulamir, is participating in the 13th General Assembly of the Arab Parliamentarian Scout Union held in the Egyptian capital Cairo.
Monfradi, a Shura Council member, highlighted the interest of Bahrain's parliament in scouting and seeking to benefit from legislation and laws related to youth across the world to enact further national legislation that enhances youth programs and the scout movement, develops their quest for learning and discovery, and contributes to their initiative and positivity towards their country and society.
