Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs Receives Phone Call from Canadian Defense Minister

Doha, September 07 (QNA) - HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al Attiyah received a phone call from HE Canadian Minister of National Defense Harjit Sajjan. During the phone call, the two sides reviewed the military cooperation relations between the two countries and ways of promoting them. The phone call also touched on the latest developments in Afghanistan and the evacuation operations which took place recently. The Canadian Defense Minister expressed thanks and appreciation for the efforts exerted by the State of Qatar in the evacuation operations from Afghanistan, and for providing humanitarian assistance to those who were evacuated during the past days.
