GCC Permanent Representatives in Geneva hold regular meeting to coordinate stances prior to UNHRC session

Geneva, Sept. 9 (BNA): Their Excellencies the GCC ambassadors have virtually held a regular meeting in Geneva, chaired by the Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Bahrain (Presiding State), HE Ambassador Dr. Yusuf Abdulkarim Bucheeri. During the meeting, they reviewed the preparations for the upcoming 48th regular session of the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC), scheduled for September 13, 2021, and discussed the topics and issues tabled for discussion to coordinate the GCC positions. The ambassadors also discussed a number of issues related to joint work in the context of the upcoming events in Geneva.
