South Korean builds hotel, resort and golf course complex

(KPL) A Republic of Korea investor invested US$ 5 million for the construction of a hotel, a resort, a golf course and a tourist site in Borikhamsay province.
Head of Domestic and Foreign Investment Promotion Division, Planning and Investment Service of Bolikhamsay province, Mr. Vivat Chaleunsouk said that the construction of the whole complex is scheduled to be completed by 2013.s
For the first phase, a seven-storey hotel would be built on a nine-hectare site, located on the banks of the Huay Sied river, Pakxan district.
This is now an ongoing project as its construction commenced in 2008 and Mr. Vivat confirmed that the completion date would be some time in 2010.
The construction work of the second phase, to be made up of a resort, golf course and tourist site would begin in 2010 and end in 2013 it would on a 400 hectare site and located near the hotel.
In 2008, 50,000 tourists from Laos and overseas visited Bolikhamsay province and a detailed look at the figures show that only 6,400 of them came from overseas.
