Archeological stonewall in Khammouane approved as new tourism site

(KPL) An archeological stonewall of Thakhek town with a 14-km stretch through 14 villages in Thakhek district, central province of Khammouane, will be declaring as a new cultural tourism site.
The site has been agreed at a meeting took place in Khammouance province, on 14 May.
The authorities of Heritage Department in cooperation with Khammouane Information and Culture Service and Land Administration Office of Thakhek district was successful in survey and collect data of archeological stonewall site in 14 villages from 13 to 30 October 2005.
According to the survey, this stonewall has been proposed to be as a new tourism site of Khammouane province.
