N. Korea fires another short-range missile+

SEOUL, May 29 Kyodo -
North Korea on Friday fired another short-range missile off its east coast, a
South Korean government source said in a report by the South's Yonhap News
Agency.

The short-range missile, the sixth since the North conducted an underground
nuclear test on Monday, was launched from the Musudan-ri rocket launch site in
North Hamkyong Province, the source said, according to the report.
''The missile North Korea launched is assumed to be a new type of ground-to-air
missile,'' the source was quoted as saying.
North Korea launched the missile, with an estimated range of 160 kilometers,
into the Sea of Japan at around 6:12 p.m., the source said.
