BBF participates in IBA Extraordinary Congress

Yerevan, Oct. 2 (BNA): Bahrain Boxing Federation (BBF) participated in the International Boxing Association (IBA) Extraordinary Congress in Armenia. Bahrain's delegation was headed by BBF Deputy President Rasool Al Khulaifat , . The congress witnessed the election of IBA president for a new term. The current Russian IBA president Umar Kremlev has won the re-elections. The congress reviewed IBA's agenda for competitions, referees’ workshops and training courses for coaches, which will be implemented by the association during the coming period. The Bahraini delegation held a series of meetings on the sidelines of the congress, and discussed cooperation with national federations to benefit from exchanging experiences, develop training plans for referees, exchange camps and many other events. The delegation also reviewed the most prominent milestones that the BBF has made during the last stage, its achievement of many goals, and its quest to continue to advance this sport and push it to occupy an advanced position at international levels, which enhances the position of the Kingdom on the map of this sport.
