HEC Secretary-General meets RCSI President

Dublin, Oct. 6 (BNA): Higher Education Council Secretary-General and Vice-Chairperson of its Board of Trustees Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa bin Daij Al Khalifa met President of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI) Dr. Laura Viani. The meeting discussed the most prominent projects of the RCSI in its branch in Bahrain. The secretary-general praised the great role of the college in the graduation of highly qualified medical students and lauded its contribution to the health sector in Bahrain. The RCSI President valued the secretary-general’s initiatives and facilities provided by the HEC for private universities in Bahrain. Viani congratulated Dr. Shaikha Rana on receiving an honorary doctorate degree from the University for Peace (UPEACE).
