Nasser bin Hamad discusses cooperation with Counselor of US State Department

Washington, Oct. 6 (BNA): During his visit to the USA, National Security Advisor, Royal Guard Commander, Major General His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, discussed boosting cooperation with Counselor of the US Department of State, Derek Chollet. HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa affirmed Bahrain’s keenness on further enhancing its distinguished relations with the USA, in light of solid ties binding the two friendly countries. Both sides discussed ways of bolstering bilateral relations to achieve the desired goals and serve common interests. They also reviewed issues of mutual concern. The meeting was attended by Bahraini Ambassador to the USA, Shaikh Abdullah bin Rashid Al Khalifa, Assistant National Security Advisor, Shaikh Khalid bin Ali Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Strategic Security Bureau (SSB), Shaikh Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Al Khalifa, and Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Political Affairs, Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa.
