HM King's advanced vision on peaceful coexistence praised

Manama, Nov. 3 (BNA): Member of the Muslim Council of Elders, His Eminence Scholar Al-Sayyed Ali Al-Amin, commended the wise vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to promote peaceful coexistence between all religions within the firm foundations of citizenship that is based on consolidating the national interest in the first place. His Eminence expressed most sincere thanks and gratitude to His Majesty the King for patronizing Bahrain Dialogue Forum "East and West for Human Coexistence". On the sidelines of his participation in the forum, His Eminence Scholar Al-Sayyed Ali Al-Amin affirmed that dialogue between people, regardless of their religions and cultures, represents the hallmark of the modern era of civilization and an evidence of human progress. He described dialogue as the ideal model to be emulated in relations between nations and peoples to reach the desired goals. His Eminence stressed that non-religious motives, mainly control, domination and wealth, have always been behind destructive conflicts in ancient and modern history. He pointed out that the basic message of religions is the call to establish justice among human beings. He added that most causes of wars and enmities would have ended if this message had been responded to. HE Al-Amin called to focus on shaping the present and future on the basis of common human denominators in order for mankind to continue living in peace.
