Pre-elections period of silence announced in Bahrain

Manama, Nov.11 (BNA): The electoral silence phase has started, 24 hours before the beginning of the voting process in the parliamentary and municipal elections. The High Elections Monitoring Committee has announced the pre-elections procedure in line with the laws regulating the polls in the Kingdom of Bahrain. It called on candidates to stop all forms of electoral propaganda and through all means, starting from today,Friday, at 8 am (November 11).. It urged voters to actively participate in the voting process to choose their parliamentary and municipal representatives, on Saturday, November 12, from 8 am to 8 pm.
