HRH the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Prime Minister receives the Commander of the US Naval Forces Central Command

Manama, Nov. 14 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Prime Minister, today received the Commander of the US Naval Forces Central Command, the United States Fifth Fleet, and the Combined Maritime Forces, Vice Admiral Charles B. Cooper II, at Gudaibiya Palace. His Royal Highness emphasised the Kingdom’s commitment to further strengthening the Bahrain-US strategic partnership to achieve common goals, particularly regarding military and defence matters. His Royal Highness commended the ongoing bilateral cooperation between the Kingdom and the United States, highlighting the efforts of the United States and allied countries to maintain regional security and stability. During the meeting, a number of issues of common interest and the latest regional and international developments were discussed. The Minister of Interior, HE Lt-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, and the Minister of Finance and National Economy, HE Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa also attended the meeting.
