Iranian, Russian cities to boost cooperation

Isfahan, IRNA – The central Iranian city of Isfahan and the western Russian city of St Petersburg are to promote cooperation in tourism, technological, scientific, cultural, and economic fields, a provincial official announced on Saturday. The two will widen cooperation under a recently-signed agreement, Ali Salehi, the spokesman for Isfahan City Council, told IRNA. The time of the agreement is unlimited, Salehi underlined. Recently, an industrial and agricultural delegation from Isfahan visited St Petersburg and Moscow. Isfahan is a sister city with Florence in Italy, Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia, Kuwait City in Kuwait, Barcelona in Spain, Freiburg in Germany, Lahore in Pakistan, Havana in Cuba, Yerevan in Armenia, and Baalbek in Lebanon.
