The Chinese Ambassador: China Support Iraq in Preserving Its Security, Stability, Strategic Relationship And Economic Reconstruction

Baghdad / NINA / - The Chinese Ambassador, Cui Wei, affirmed his country's support for Iraq in preserving its security, stability, strategic relationship, and economic reconstruction. He said in a press conference attended by NINA that the Chinese-Iraqi partnership is very important and Iraq is an important strategic partner, especially in the Silk Belt Road. Wei added that the relationship and cooperation between the two countries is at a high level and covers all fields. He explained that the recent Chinese-Arab summit in Riyadh affirmed the commitment of the two parties to the Arab-Chinese strategy and the call for multipolarity and the strengthening of Chinese-Arab cooperation in the Silk Belt Road. He continued, China signed several agreements with the Arab League and the Gulf Cooperation Council regarding the road belt, space and cooperation in various fields. He stressed that the Palestinian cause is the most important issue for the Arab and Islamic worlds, and the Chinese president attaches great importance to the Palestinian cause, stressing that China supports the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with full membership in the United Nations and always stands with the Palestinian people to obtain their legitimate rights. Wei stressed China's rejection of any interference in the internal affairs of Arab countries and supports their independence and work for construction and reconstruction.
