Iraq And NATO Discuss Aspects Of Cooperation, Coordination And Expansion Of Partnership At The Level Of Training

Baghdad / NINA / - Minister of Defense Thabet Muhammad Saeed Al-Abbasi discussed with the commander of the NATO mission in Iraq aspects of cooperation, coordination and expansion of partnership at the level of training.

The Ministry of Defense said in a statement, "Defense Minister Thabet Muhammad Saeed Al-Abbasi met, in his office, at the ministry's headquarters, today, Sunday, the commander of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) mission in Iraq, Jose Antonio, and his accompanying delegation.

The statement stressed, "During the meeting, aspects of cooperation, coordination, and expansion of partnership were discussed at the level of training, in addition to providing expertise in all joints of the military institution to develop the capabilities of the Iraqi army."/ End
