Russia, China companies sign agreements worth 860 mln dlrs at fair.

BEIJING, June 19 (Itar-Tass) - Russian companies signed 13
agreements worth 860 million dollars with Chinese partners at the Harbin
trade fair, which ended on Friday, Russia's deputy trade representative in
China Yuri Feoktistov told Tass.

These documents involve such spheres as production and procession of
coal, cooperation in the electricity sector, development of agricultural
resources of Russia's Far East as well as timber processing. Besides, the
sides have signed agreements on fertilizers, cellulose and chemical
products, as well as agreements on supplies from China of steam boilers,
heavy trucks and clothing.
Russia's participation has always been the most appreciable,
substantial and productive in the history of the biggest in China fair,
orientated at countries of North-East Asia, CIS and Eastern Europe. Trade
Days of Russia timed to the fair were held in Harbin traditionally.
Projects of Russian-Chinese cooperation in the sphere of construction,
real estate, Russia's possibility in the sphere of deep timber processing
were presented.
A seminar was held on the use of national currencies in
Russian-Chinese border cooperation. Last year, Russian and Chinese
business circles signed at the Harbin fair agreements worth 1.35 billion
dollars.
