Interior Minister receives Jordanian Public Security Director

Manama, Oct. 1 (BNA): General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior, received Major-General AbeidAllah Maaitah, Jordanian Director of Public Security, on the sidelines of his participation in the Joint Bahrain-Jordan Security Committee meeting.

 

The two sides discussed security cooperation between the two countries, and ways to exchange expertise in facing security challenges.

 

The minister praised the historical ties between the two countries, supported by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein of Jordan.

 

He expressed appreciation for security cooperation between the two countries and efforts to promote joint operations to protect national efforts and regional security.
