Baghdad / NINA / -The head of the United Nations mission in Iraq, Hennis-Plasschaert, confirmed during her briefing in the Security Council on developments in Iraq that the Iraqi government has taken steps in the budget that allow an increase in private sector investments.
Plasschaert said that the tripartite budget in Iraq included paragraphs to meet urgent needs, such as infrastructure development projects.
Plasschaert, confirmed that the Iraqi budget included the highest financial allocations for the provision of social services such as health care and education.
