– A Jewish parliamentarian here on Sunday rejected the recent reports on banning cultural and social activities of the Jewish community in Iran.

Siamak Marreh Sedq, representatives of the Iranian Jews at the Islamic Consultative Assembly (Majlis) made the remarks in his statement issued on Sunday.

“Once again we have witnessed a baseless report by the enemies of the Iranian nation published by certain media belonging to the Global Arrogance in regards to the recent incidents in the Islamic Republic of Iran saying the cultural and social activities of the Iranian Jews have been banned,” the statement said.

Condemning such incorrect and incredible reports, the MP reiterated that the Iranian Jews are continuing all their social and cultural activities as in the past.
