CIS INTERSTATE COUNCIL FOR COOPERATION ON INNOVATION, SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY TO BE ESTABLISHED

Chisinau, June 21 (AzerTAc). A decision to set up the Interstate Council for cooperation on innovation, science and technology was adopted by the 42nd meeting of the CIS Economic Council held in Moldova with attendance of representatives of Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Ukraine and Armenia.
The council will include heads of governmental agencies responsible for innovation and development of science and technology.
2010 year is expected to be designated as Year of Innovation in the CIS countries.
