Iraq And Turkey Discuss The Development Road Project And The Two Countries’ Desire To Expand The Horizons Of Partnership And Cooperation

Baghdad / NINA /- The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Bilateral Relations, Muhammad Hussein Bahr Al-Ulum, discussed with the Turkish Ambassador Ali Riza Gonay the Development Road Project and the desire of the two neighboring countries to expand the horizons of partnership and cooperation.

 

 A statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that, during his meeting with the Turkish ambassador, Bahr al-Ulum expressed the cooperation of the Iraqi government and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in everything that would strengthen relations between the two neighboring countries, touching on what is happening in Palestine and the exposure of children and women to blatant assault by the occupying Zionist entity, calling for the necessity of "Intensify efforts to stop the current crisis."

 

 The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs also congratulated the Ambassador on the occasion of the centenary of the founding of the Turkish Republic.

 

 According to the statement, the two sides discussed the agreements signed between the two sides, stressing the desire of the governments of the two countries to remove all obstacles that hinder this goal.

 

 The meeting also discussed a number of topics, including the development road project and the desire of the two neighboring countries to expand the horizons of partnership and cooperation, as well as a number of regional issues and international positions on them.”

 

 For his part, the Turkish ambassador expressed his hope that the Islamic world and the entire world would have a firm position regarding the painful attacks taking place in the Palestinian territories./End
