PM Meets Guterres In Cairo And Stresses The Necessity Of Putting An End To The Ongoing Zionist Aggression And Genocide To Which Gaza Are Subjected
Baghdad / NINA /- Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani stressed the necessity of putting an end to the ongoing Zionist aggression and the genocide to which the people of Gaza are subjected to.
The Prime Minister’s Media Office said in a statement, “Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani met today, Saturday, with the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres, in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, on the sidelines of his participation in the Cairo Peace Summit, to discuss developments in the occupied Palestinian territories.”
During the meeting, Al-Sudani stressed the need to put an end to the ongoing Zionist aggression and the genocide to which the people of Gaza are subjected at the hands of the occupation forces, and to open humanitarian corridors to transport urgent aid, indicating Iraq’s readiness to send support and assistance convoys to Gaza.
The Prime Minister expressed Iraq's readiness to communicate with all relevant countries and parties to unify the position and reach agreed upon practical steps and present them to all countries of the world./End
