The Minister Of Education Confirms From Paris Iraq's Role In Promoting UNESCO Recommendations In The Field Of Education, Culture And Science
Baghdad / NINA /- The Minister of Education, Ibrahim Namis Al-Jubouri, stressed Iraq’s role in promoting UNESCO recommendations in the field of education, culture and science.
The Ministry of Education said in a statement, today, Thursday, that: “Unifying the governmental visions that aspire to raise Iraq’s name among international circles, the Minister of Education, Ibrahim Namis Al-Jubouri, delivered a participation speech during the forty-second UNESCO conference held in Paris, in which he spoke about the country’s role in promoting UNESCO’s recommendations in the field of education, culture and science and the emergence of its strategic goals with the support of the three presidencies after it became, within a few years, an effective member of the organization, thanking the Director General of the Conference, Audrey Ozlay, and her cooperation with the Arab countries.
According to the statement, the Minister of Education affirmed: “The educational process is witnessing a remarkable development after participating in modern training programs, the components of which have been reflected positively on the educational system, correcting the course and consistency of scientific outputs in the country.”
Al-Jubouri also condemned, according to the statement, the brutal acts and inhumane practices towards the Palestinian people in Gaza, calling on the people to cooperate and join hands with the innocents and work to stop the war there, concluding his speech with wishes of peace and security for all peoples in all parts of the earth./End
