The Chairman of the Investment Commission discusses with the Qatari Ambassador the prospects for cooperation in the investment field

Baghdad / NINA /- The Chairman of the National Investment Commission, Haider Muhammad Makiya, met with the Ambassador of Qatar to Iraq, Mubarak Sultan Al-Kubaisi, and discussed with him the development of prospects for cooperation in the investment field.

 Makiya said, according to a statement by the Commission: “Iraq is keen to develop its economic and investment relations with Qatar, and expand joint work spaces with specialized Qatari investment companies.”

 For his part, the Qatari ambassador expressed his happiness at the visit of the National Investment Commission, expressing his country’s readiness to cooperate and sign agreements to develop projects in Iraq./ End
