Iraq confirms its Prime Minister's keenness to implement the security agreement between them
Baghdad / NINA / - The National Security Advisor Qasim Al-Araji confirmed Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani’s keenness to follow up on the implementation of the security agreement between Iraq and Iran.
The National Security Chencellry stated in a statement: “Today, Al-Araji met with an Iranian security delegation, and during the meeting, they discussed following up on the implementation of the security agreement between Iraq and Iran, and the level of completion of its steps between the two countries.”
Al-Araji reiterated Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani’s keenness to implement this agreement, follow up on its steps personally, and not allow any form of laxity in implementing the terms of the agreement.
The meeting also discussed issues related to border security and preventing smuggling and infiltration, in addition to the joint emphasis on moving forward with the security agreement between the two countries, in the interest of the two countries and the two friendly peoples./End
