Al-Mandalawi Calls On Asian Parliamentary Assembly To Adopt Four Resolutions He Personally Presented Regarding The Situation In Gaza
Baghdad / NINA / -Acting Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, called on the Asian Parliamentary Assembly to adopt four resolutions that he presented personally, during his speech at the first meeting of the Palestine Committee of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly, which is holding its work in the Iranian capital, Tehran.
According to a statement by his media office, Al-Mandalawi called on the countries, governments and parliaments of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly to call on the United Nations to intervene immediately to stop the Zionist aggression and all acts of war, and to open the border crossings to bring in humanitarian aid, in addition to boycotting the Zionist entity for the crimes of genocide it commits against the Palestinian people, and its violation of the Third and fourth Geneva Conventions regarding prisoners and the protection of civilians, and it violates the texts of the International Covenant on Civil Rights, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and nearly ninety Security Council resolutions related to the Palestinian issue.
The President of the Arab Parliament stressed the need for the government of Asian countries to adopt a resolution to reject and stop the forced displacement of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip definitively, and to establish an Asian fund for the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip and call on all countries of the world and international organizations to participate in this fund, praising the sacrifices and steadfastness of the patient Palestinian people, stressing at the same time “The solution lies in restoring its full rights by establishing its independent state with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital.”/End
