RF govt this year should adopt trade activity strategy up to 2015

MOSCOW, June 25 (Itar-Tass) - The Russian government this year should
adopt the strategy of the development of the country's trade activity for
a period up to 2015, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Andrei
Dementyev said on Wednesday at a meeting devoted to the drafting of the
law "On fundamentals of the state regulation of trade activity in the RF."
According to him, the adoption of this strategy this year should be
made along with passing of the law regulating trade activities.
The deputy industry and trade minister also said that the adoption of
the law will not finally remove all problems in the trade sphere.
According to him, it is necessary to approve at the government level
additionally 15 normative acts to supplement the law.
He added that the draft law does not regulate relations with
consumers. He also noted that the issue of the protection of consumers is
the subject of regulation by other legislative acts that may also have to
be amended.
