The President Of The Republic Receives The Credentials Of The Ambassadors Of The Philippines, Australia, And France
Baghdad / NINA / -The President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, received, today, Monday at Baghdad Palace, the credentials of the new ambassadors of the Philippines, Charlie Paknyan Manangan, Australia, Glen Andrew Miles, and France, Patrick Durrell, in the presence of Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Fuad Hussein.
The President stressed, during the meeting with the ambassadors separately, that Iraq continues to work to strengthen its relations with the international community on the basis of cooperation in various fields, especially economic and trade, and coordination and joint work in order to establish security, stability and peace in the region.
The President expressed his wishes to the ambassadors for success in their new work tasks and to strengthen friendly relations between Iraq and their countries.
For their part, the ambassadors expressed "their countries' aspiration to strengthen existing relations with Iraq and develop them in areas of common interest."/End
