The President Heads To Algeria To Participate In The Seventh Summit Of The Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF)

Baghdad / NINA /- The President of the Republic, Abdel Latif Jamal Rashid, left the capital, Baghdad, today, Friday, heading to the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria, in response to an official invitation from Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune to participate in the seventh summit of heads of state and government of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF).

Rashid is accompanied by a government delegation, which included Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Oil Hayan Abdul Ghani, member of the House of Representatives, member of the Parliamentary Energy Committee Adnan Ashour, head of the Board of Advisors and Experts in the Presidency of the Republic, Ali Al-Shukri, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Muhammad Hussein Bahr Al-Ulum, and the head of the Kurdistan Region Representation, Fares Issa, with a number of officials and advisors./End
