Al-Mandalawi Meets The Romanian Ambassador And Confirms: Iraq Has A Large Military Force And No Longer Needs Int'l Coalition Forces
Baghdad / NINA / -The Acting Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, discussed, today, Tuesday, with the Ambassador of the Republic of Romania to Iraq, Radu Octavian Dubri, a number of files and topics of common interest.
A statement from his office stated, “During his meeting with the ambassador, Al-Mandalawi discussed aspects of cooperation between the two countries and ways to develop them at all levels, especially at the economic, commercial and political levels, and called on Romanian companies to benefit from the attractive investment environment and facilities that Iraq provides to reputable companies.”
Al-Mandalawi stressed, “Iraq has a large military force and no longer needs the international coalition forces. Rather, the actual need is for bilateral relations based on mutual respect and common interests," stressing "the importance of strengthening parliamentary cooperation and exchanging experiences at the legislative level.”/End
